AerCap Holdings NV provides aircraft leasing & aviation finance services. Its activities also include aircraft asset management, corporate services, remarketing of aircraft, collecting rental, maintenance payments & monitoring aircraft maintenance.

AerCap Holdings NV was incorporated in the Netherlands as a public limited liability company (naamloze vennootschap or N.V.) on July 10, 2006. On November 27, 2006, it completed the initial public offering. The Company is an independent aircraft leasing company. The Company is engaged in leasing, financing, sales and management of commercial aircraft and engines. It provides aircraft, engines and parts to customers in every geographical region. The Company owned approximately 1,109 aircraft, excluding four aircraft that were owned by AeroTurbine, managed 141 aircraft, including those owned and on order by AerDragon, had 447 new aircraft on order, including 209 Airbus A320neo family aircraft, 109 Boeing 737MAX aircraft, 51 Boeing 787 aircraft, 50 Embraer E-Jets E2 aircraft, 27 Airbus A350 aircraft, and one Boeing 737NG aircraft. The Company also provides aircraft asset management and corporate services to securitization vehicles, joint ventures and other third parties. The Company has aircraft management and administration and/or cash management service contracts with eight parties that owned 141 aircraft. The Company's aircraft asset management activities include remarketing aircraft; collecting rental and maintenance payments, monitoring aircraft maintenance, monitoring and enforcing contract compliance and accepting delivery and redelivery of aircraft; conducting ongoing lessee financial performance reviews; periodically inspecting the leased aircraft; coordinating technical modifications to aircraft to meet new lessee requirements; conducting restructuring negotiations in connection with lease defaults; repossessing aircraft; arranging and monitoring insurance coverage; registering and de-registering aircraft; arranging for aircraft and aircraft engine valuations; and providing market research. It also provides engine leasing, certified aircraft engines, airframes, and engine parts, and supply chain solutions. The Company faces competition from aircraft manufacturers, financial institutions, other leasing companies, aircraft brokers and airlines. The Company's lessees are subject to extensive regulation under the laws of the jurisdictions in which it is registered and in which it operates.
