Adecoagro SA was organized under the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. It is an agricultural company in South America, with operations in Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. It is currently involved in a broad range of businesses, including farming crops and other agricultural products, cattle and dairy operations, sugar, ethanol and energy production and land transformation. The Company's sustainable business model is focused on a low-cost production model that leverages growing or producing each of its agricultural products in regions where it has competitive advantages, reducing the volatility of its returns through product and geographic diversification and use of advanced technology, benefiting from vertical integration in key segments of the agro-industrial chain, acquiring and transforming land to improve its productivity and realizing land appreciation through strategic dispositions; and promoting sustainable agricultural production and development.
