Amcor Ltd is a packaging solutions company, which supplies a broad range of plastic, fiber, metal and glass packaging products. It operates through four segments: Amcor Rigid Plastics, Amcor Australasia and Packaging Distribution, Amcor Flexibles and Other/Investments. The Amcor Rigid Plastics segment manufactures rigid plastic containers from various materials for a broad range of predominantly beverage and food products, including carbonated soft drinks, water, juices, sports drinks, milk-based beverages, spirits and beer, sauces, dressings, spreads and personal care items and plastic caps for a wide variety of applications. The Amcor Australasia and Packaging Distribution segment manufactures a wide range of products including corrugated boxes; cartons and folding cartons; aluminum beverage cans; plastic and metal closures; glass wine and beer bottles; multi-wall sacks; carton board, paper and recycled paper. The distribution operations of this segment purchases, warehouses, sells and delivers a wide variety of packaging and related products. The Amcor Flexibles segment represents the aggregation of three operating segments of which each manufactures flexible and film packaging for the respective industries. The operating segments are Amcor Flexibles Europe and Americas, Amcor Tobacco Packaging and Amcor Flexibles Asia Pacific. The Amcor Flexibles Europe and Americas segment provides packaging for the food and beverage industry. The Amcor Tobacco Packaging which manufactures flexible packaging for specialty folding cartons for tobacco packaging. The Amcor Flexibles Asia Pacific segment provides packaging for the food and beverage industry including confectionery, coffee, fresh food and dairy and also provides packaging for the pharmaceutical sector and home and personal care. The Other/Investments segment holds the investment in AMVIG Holdings Ltd. AMVIG is principally involved in the manufacture of tobacco packaging.
