Anchor Bancorp, a Washington corporation, was formed for the purpose of becoming the bank holding company for Anchor Bank in connection with the Bank's conversion from mutual to stock form, which was completed on January 25, 2011. In connection with the mutual to stock conversion, the Bank changed its name from 'Anchor Mutual Savings Bank' to 'Anchor Bank.' at June 30, 2011. Anchor Bancorp is a bank holding company. Anchor Bank is a community-based savings bank mainly serving Western Washington through its 14 full-service banking offices (including four Wal-Mart store locations) and located within Grays Harbor, Thurston, Lewis, Pierce and Mason counties, Washington. It is in the business of attracting deposits from the public and utilizing those deposits to originate loans. It offers loans and credit cards which include term loan, Small Business Administration (SBA) Loan, Business Credit Cards, Commercial Real Estate Loans. It offers convenience services which include Merchant Credit Card Services, Remote Deposit, Health Savings Accounts, Online Payroll, Electronic Billing etc. It offers Business Deposit Accounts, which include Business Analysis Checking, Basic Business Checking, Free Business Checking, and Money Market Account. The Company also offers Checking accounts which include beyond checking, interest checking, Anchor free checking. It's saving and CD accounts offers statement Savings account, Money market accounts, Health saving account, Youth savings etc. The Company also offers personal loans and home loans. The Company competes with large commercial banks, thrift institutions and credit unions in its main market area. Anchor Bancorp is a bank holding company and is subject to regulation by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System ('Federal Reserve'). Anchor Bank is examined and regulated by the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions, Division of Banks ('DFI') and by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation ('FDIC').
