Abercrombie & Fitch Co is a specialty retailer, which operates stores and direct-to-consumer operations. The Company sells products, including casual sportswear apparel, including knit and woven shirts, and graphic t-shirts.

Abercrombie & Fitch Co was incorporated in Delaware in 1996. The Company is a specialty retailer, which operates stores and direct-to-consumer operations. Through these channels it sells products, including casual sportswear apparel, including knit and woven shirts, graphic t-shirts, fleece, jeans and woven pants, shorts, sweaters, and outerwear; personal care products; and accessories for men, women and kids under the Abercrombie & Fitch, abercrombie kids, and Hollister brands. It also operates stores and direct-to-consumer operations offering bras, underwear, personal care products, sleepwear and at-home products for girls under the Gilly Hicks brand. The Company operates 754 stores in the United States and 178 stores outside of the U.S. The Company operates in three reportable segments: Abercrombie, Hollister and other. Its geographical segments are United States, Europe and other. The Company's customer engagement strategy includes the in-store and digital experience which are designed to reinforce the lifestyle represented by each brand. The brands also have followers on key social platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Weibo. It competes with individual and chain fashion specialty stores as well as regional and national department stores.
