Assa Abloy AB provides secure door opening solutions. It operates in areas such as access control, identification technology, door automation and hotel security.

Assa Abloy AB was formed in 1994 in Sweden. It manufactures door opening solutions. The Company offers access control, identification products, automated doors, door closers, electromechanical and electronic locks, mechanical locks and security doors. The Company operates in North and South America, the Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The Company's business is divided into five divisions: The three are based on products sold in local markets in the respective division: EMEA, Americas and Asia Pacific; Global Technologies manufacture and sell electronic access control, identification products and entrance automation; and Entrance Systems consist of products including automatic swing, sliding, revolving doors, gate automation, hardware, garage doors, revolving doors, gate automation, hardware, garage doors sold around the world. The Company sells its products through distribution channels, including security system integrators, locksmiths, wholesalers, retailers, do-it-yourself shops, building suppliers, hardware stores, original equipment manufacturers and security shops.
