Atlas Energy Group LLC was formed on October 2011. It is an oil and gas company. Its operations include ARP and New Atlas. ARP consists of ARP's operations. New Atlas includes the operations of the Arkoma assets and the Development Subsidiary. ARP is a publicly traded Delaware master limited partnership and an independent developer and producer of natural gas, crude oil and NGLs, with operations in basins across the United States. Atlas Energy's new partnership subsidiary conducts natural gas and oil operations in the mid-continent region of the United States. Since its formation, the Development Subsidiary has conducted operations in the Marble Falls formation in the Fort Worth Basin and in the Mississippi Lime area of the Anadarko Basin in Oklahoma. The Company and ARP's operations are regulated extensively at the federal, state and local levels.
