Business Description

Axfood AB is a Swedish food retailing company. The company operates the Willys and Hemkop chains of stores. The retail stores offer food and general goods, including hygiene products, seasonal products, CDs/DVDs, electronic devices and toys. Hemkop offers quality groceries and low prices. Hemkop offers a loyalty credit card which offers rewards for customers. Willys is a discount chain and Willys Hemma is a smaller version of the larger store. The stores put affordability on the forefront. PrisXtra is a chain store located in Stockholm. It is the premium branch of Axfood and it sells the highest quality goods of the other chains. It also operates NetXtra, an online store.Axfood also wholesales groceries. It operates those activities through the Dagab and Axfood Narlivs stores. Dagab repacks and stores goods in warehouses in order to distribute to stores across Sweden. It ships to over 500 stores from its two distribution centers. It is the logistics branch of Axfood. It also manages deliveries for the Vi Retailers Association. Axfood Narlivs operated convenience store wholesale. The wholesale group sells to mini-marts, service stations and other convenience stores.
