BBX Capital Corp was organized under the laws of the State of Florida in 1994. The Company's asset until July 31, 2012 was its investment in BankAtlantic and its subsidiaries. The Company's activities involve the investment, ownership, financing, acquisition, development and management of real estate and real estate related assets and consists of the activities associated with its loans receivable, real estate properties acquired through foreclosure and charged off loans as well as its investments in operating businesses. The Company is actively engaged in pursuing joint venture arrangements with developers for residential and commercial development projects in which it fund its equity investment in joint ventures through cash investments or by contributing real estate properties.
