Blueknight Energy Partners LP provides integrated terminalling, storage, gathering and transportation services for companies engaged in the production, distribution and marketing of crude oil and liquid asphalt cement.

Blueknight Energy Partners LP was formed as a Delaware limited partnership in 2007 to own, operate and develop diversified portfolio of complementary midstream energy assets. The Company through its subsidiaries provides integrated storage, terminalling, gathering and transportation services for Companies engaged in the production, distribution and marketing of crude oil and liquid asphalt cement. The Company manages its operations through four operating segments; crude oil terminalling and storage services, crude oil pipeline services, crude oil trucking and producer field services, and asphalt terminalling services. The Company's asphalt terminalling services segment provides asphalt product and residual fuel terminalling, storage and blending services at its 45 terminalling and storage facilities located in 23 states. The Company's crude oil terminalling and storage services segment provide crude oil terminalling and storage services at its terminalling and storage facilities located in Oklahoma and Texas. The Company's crude oil pipeline services segment owns and operates three pipeline systems, the Mid-Continent system, the East Texas system and Eagle North system, that gather crude oil purchased by its customers and transports it to refiners, to common carrier pipelines for ultimate delivery to refiners or to terminalling and storage facilities owned by the Partnership and others. The Company refers to its pipeline system located in Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle as the Mid-Continent system. It refers to its second pipeline system, which is located in Texas, as the East Texas system. It also refers to its third system, originating in Cushing, Oklahoma and terminating in Ardmore, Oklahoma, as the Eagle North system. The Company's crude oil trucking and producer field services segment uses its owned and leased tanker trucks to gather crude oil for its customers at remote wellhead locations generally not covered by pipeline and gathering systems and to transport the crude oil to aggregation points and storage facilities located along pipeline gathering and transportation systems. Crude oil producer field services consist of a number of producer field services, ranging from gathering condensates from natural gas companies to hauling produced water to disposal wells. The Company's crude oil gathering and transportation services competitors include Enterprise Products Partners L.P., Plains All American Pipeline, L.P., Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P., Sunoco Logistics Partners L.P. and Rose Rock Midstream Partners, L.P., among others. With respect to crude oil storage and terminalling services, the competitors include Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P., Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P., Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. and Rose Rock Midstream Partners, L.P.
