Bryn Mawr Bank Corp was formed and on January 2, 1987. The Company operates as the holding company for The Bryn Mawr Trust Company. The Bank offers a range of personal and business banking services, consumer and commercial loans, equipment leasing, mortgages, insurance and wealth management services, including investment management, trust and estate administration, retirement planning, custody services, and tax planning and preparation. The company operates 19 full-service branches and seven Life Care Community offices in Montgomery, Delaware and Chester counties of Pennsylvania and New Castle County in Delaware. The Corporation and its subsidiaries offer a full range of personal and business banking services, consumer and commercial loans, equipment leasing, mortgages, insurance and wealth management services, including investment management, trust and estate administration, retirement planning, custody services, and tax planning and preparation. The company offers various deposit products, such as demand deposits, time deposits, savings, NOW accounts, and money market accounts. Its loan portfolio includes commercial, industrial, construction, and consumer loans; commercial and residential mortgages; home equity loans and lines of credit, as well as small-ticket equipment leasing services and other extensions of credit. In addition, the company offers wealth management services, such as trust administration and other related fiduciary services, custody services, investment management and advisory services, employee benefit account and IRA administration, estate settlement, tax services, financial planning, and brokerage services. Further, it provides insurance and related products and services, including casualty, property, and allied insurance lines, as well as life insurance, annuities, medical insurance, and accident and health insurance for groups and individuals. Additionally, the company offers title search and abstract services; mortgage services; and equipment financing services. The Company operates 19 full-service branches and seven Life Care Community offices throughout Montgomery, Delaware and Chester counties of Pennsylvania. The Company primarily competes with other savings banks, credit unions, insurance companies, trust companies, registered investment advisors and mutual fund families. The Corporation and its subsidiaries are regulated by many agencies, including the Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Federal Reserve and the Pennsylvania Department of Banking.
