Boardwalk Pipeline Partners LP operates in the midstream portion of the natural gas. The Company provides transportation, storage, gathering and processing services natural gas and NGL industry.

Boardwalk Pipeline Partners LP was incorporated in Delaware on August 4, 2005. The Company through its subsidiaries owns and operates in the midstream portion of the natural gas and NGLs industry, providing transportation, storage, gathering and processing services for those commodities. The Company owns approximately 14,525 miles of natural gas and NGLs pipelines and underground storage caverns having aggregate capacity of approximately 205.0 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of working natural gas and 24.0 million barrels (MMBbls) of NGLs. Its pipeline systems originate in the Gulf Coast region, Oklahoma and Arkansas and extend north and east to the Midwestern states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. The Company owns and operates approximately 14,090 miles of interconnected natural gas pipelines directly serving customers in thirteen states and indirectly serving customers throughout the northeastern and southeastern U.S. through numerous interconnections with unaffiliated pipelines. It also owns and operates approximately more than 435 miles of NGLs pipelines in Louisiana and Texas. The Company's pipeline systems transported approximately 2.4 trillion cubic feet (Tcf) of natural gas and approximately 46.6 MMBbls of NGLs. The Company's customers include producers of natural gas, local distribution companies (LDCs), marketers, electric power generators, industrial users and interstate and intrastate pipelines. The Company contracts with its customers to provide transportation and storage services on a firm and interruptible basis. It provides bundled firm transportation and storage services, which the company provides to its natural gas customers as NNS, interruptible PAL services for its natural gas customers, gathering and processing services for its natural gas customers and it also provide brine supply services for certain petrochemical customers and fractionation services. The Company contracts directly with producers of natural gas, and with end-use customers including LDCs, marketers, electric power generators, industrial users and interstate and intrastate pipelines who, in turn, provide transportation and storage services for end-users. The Company competes with numerous other pipelines that provide transportation, storage and other services at many locations along pipeline systems. It also competes with pipelines that are attached to natural gas supply sources that are closer to some of its traditional natural gas market areas. The Company's operations are subject to extensive federal, state, and local laws and regulations relating to protection of the environment.
