Bluelinx Holdings Inc is a wholesale supplier of building products in North America. It distributes products include plywood, oriented strand board, rebar & remesh, lumber, specialty panels, moulding, engineered wood products and other wood products.

BlueLinx Holdings Inc was created on March 8, 2004 as a Georgia corporation named ABP Distribution Holdings Inc. On May 7, 2004, Georgia-Pacific sold the assets of the Division to ABP. ABP subsequently merged into BlueLinx Holdings Inc. The Company, operating through its wholly-owned subsidiary, BlueLinx Corporation, is a distributor of building products in the United States. It operates in all of the metropolitan areas in the United States and the Company distributed approximately 10,000 products from over 750 suppliers to service more than 11,500 customers nationwide, including dealers, industrial manufacturers, manufactured housing producers and home improvement retailers. It operates its distribution business from sales centers in Atlanta and Denver, and its network of approximately 50 distribution centers. The Company distributes products in two principal categories: structural products and specialty products. Structural products include plywood, oriented strand board, rebar and remesh, lumber and other wood products used for structural support, walls and flooring in construction projects. Specialty products include roofing, insulation, specialty panels, moulding, engineered wood products, vinyl products (used in siding), outdoor living and metal products. The Companys customers include building materials dealers, industrial users of building products, manufactured housing builders and home improvement centers. The Company sells products through three main distribution channels: Warehouse Sales, Reload Sales and Direct Sales. It competes with Boise Cascade Company and Weyerhaeuser Company. The Companys operations are subject to various federal, state, provincial and local laws, rules and regulations.
