The Wireless segment provides advanced digital voice and data communications services through the operation of a regional wireless network in the Company's licensed service territory, which surrounds Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio and includes areas of northern Kentucky and southeastern Indiana. The Data Center Colocation segment provides data center colocation services to primarily large businesses. IT Services and Hardware provides managed and outsourced IT and telecommunications services along with the sale, installation, and maintenance of major branded IT and telephony equipment. The Wireline segment faces competition from other local exchange carriers, wireless service providers, inter-exchange carriers, cable, broadband, and internet service providers. The Data Center Colocation and IT Services and Hardware segments compete against numerous other data center colocation, information technology consulting, web-hosting, and computer system integration companies, many of which are large in scope and well-financed. The Company's operations are subject to laws and regulations relating to the protection of the environment, health, and human safety, including those governing the management and disposal of, and exposure to, hazardous materials and the cleanup of contamination, and the emission of radio frequency.
