Constellation Energy Partners LLC. is a limited liability company that was formed by Constellation Energy Group, Inc. (Constellation) in 2005 to acquire oil and natural gas reserves. The Company is focused on the acquisition, development and production of oil and natural gas properties (E&P properties) as well as related midstream assets. It completed its initial public offering on November 20, 2006. The Company's assets include natural gas and oil reserves in the Black Warrior Basin in Alabama, the Cherokee Basin in Oklahoma and Kansas and the Woodford Shale in the Arkoma Basin in Oklahoma. These reserves provide long-lived production, low-risk, low-cost drilling opportunities and a high percentage of proved developed reserves. It is subject to costs resulting from federal, state and local laws and regulations designed to protect human health and the environment.
