Celadon Group Inc, through its subsidiaries, provides truckload transportation services between United States, Canada and Mexico. It offers services such as long-haul, regional, dedicated, less-than-truckload, intermodal and logistics services.

Celadon Group Inc was incorporated in Delaware in 1986. The Company is a dry van truckload carrier, transporting full trailer loads of freight from origin to destination without intermediate stops or handling. The Company also provides warehousing and trucking services through Celadon Dedicated Services. In its international operations, it offers time-sensitive transportation in and between the United States and its two trading partners, Mexico and Canada. The Company provides warehousing and trucking services through Celadon Dedicated Services. The Company's warehouse facilities are located near its customers' manufacturing plants. It also transports the manufacturing component parts to its warehouses and sequences those parts for its customers. It also offers less-than-truckload services to all its customers. The Company's operations are subject to various federal, state and local environmental laws and regulations, implemented by the Environmental Protection Agency ("EPA") and similar state regulatory agencies, governing the management of hazardous wastes, other discharge of pollutants into the air and surface and underground waters and the disposal of certain substances.
