China Natural Resources Inc was incorporated in the British Virgin Islands on December 14, 1993. The Company and its operating subsidiaries conducts acquisition and exploitation of mining rights, including the exploration, mineral extraction, processing and sales of iron, zinc and other nonferrous metals extracted or produced at mines mainly located in Anhui Province in the PRC. The Company operates in one line of business: mining of zinc, iron and other non-ferrous metal. Zinc products are used in the infrastructure, housing, communication, household appliance and automobile sectors. Its production is concentrated in Australia, Canada, China and Peru. Iron ore is one of the key compounds for producing crude steel which is used by the infrastructure, real estate, shipbuilding and automobile sectors. Its production of iron is concentrated in Australia, Brazil, the PRC, India and South Africa. The Company's mining and exploration activities are subject to various PRC laws and regulations governing the protection of the environment.
