China Unicom (Hong Kong) Ltd was incorporated as a limited liability company in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the People's Republic of China on 8 February 2000. It is an investment holding Company. The Company provides cellular and fixed-line voice and related value-added services, broadband and other Internet-related services, information communications technology services, and business and data communications services in the PRC. The GSM cellular voice, WCDMA cellular voice and related value-added services are referred to as the mobile business. The Company is subject to applicable Hong Kong laws and regulations, including the Listing Rules and the Companies Ordinance, as well as applicable U.S. federal securities laws.
