Cobalt International Energy is an independent exploration and production company with operations in the Gulf regions of the United States. The company's process for maturing an exploration prospect from identification to drill-ready status requires the analysis of a multitude of geological data to locate the highest potential areas. In addition, Cobalt performs substantial drilling-related engineering work to further assist its well maturation process.
