Cincinnati Financial Corp is a property casualty insurance company. The Company's business segment are Commercial lines insurance, Personal lines insurance, Excess and surplus lines insurance, Life insurance and Investments.

Cincinnati Financial Corp is an Ohio corporation formed in 1968. It is a property casualty insurance company. The Company's business segments are Commercial lines insurance, Personal lines insurance, Excess and surplus lines insurance, Life insurance and Investments. The Commercial Lines Insurance Segment offers five line of business Commercial casualty - Provides coverage to businesses against third-party liability from accidents occurring on their premises or arising out of their operations, including liability coverage for injuries sustained from products sold as well as coverage for professional services, such as dentistry. Commercial property - Provides coverage for loss or damage to buildings, inventory and equipment caused by covered causes of loss such as fire, wind, hail, water, theft and vandalism, as well as business interruption resulting from a covered loss. Commercial auto - Protects businesses against liability to others for both bodily injury and property damage, medical payments to insureds and occupants of their vehicles, physical damage to an insured's own vehicle from collision and various other perils. Workers compensation covers employers for specified benefits payable under state or federal law for workplace injuries to employees. Other commercial lines include types of insurance products it offers to businesses. The Personal Lines Insurance Segment provide three line of business, Personal auto - Protects against liability to others for both bodily injury and property damage, medical payments to insureds and occupants of their vehicle, physical damage to an insured's own vehicle from collision and various other perils, Homeowner - Protects against losses to dwellings and contents from a variety of perils, as well as liability arising out of personal activities both on and off the covered premises, Other personal lines - This includes the variety of other types of insurance products it offers to individuals such as dwelling fire, inland marine and personal umbrella liability. The Excess and Surplus Lines Insurance Segment cover business risks with characteristics, such as the nature of the business or its claim history, that are difficult to profitably insure in the standard commercial lines market. The Life Insurance Segment offer four line of business, term life insurance, universal life insurance, worksite products and whole life insurance. The Investments Segment operates two investment categories, Fixed-maturity investments and Equity investments. The Company's operations are subject to state regulatory authorities of all states in which it write insurance.
