Business Description

Clean Energy Fuels Corporation. was incorporated in April 2001. The Company. sells natural gas fueling solutions to its customers mainly in the United States and Canada. The company provides natural gas solutions for vehicle fleets mainly in the United States and Canada. It also builds fueling stations and helps its customers acquire and finance natural gas vehicles and obtain local, state and federal clean air financial and tax incentives. It designs, builds, finances and operates fueling stations and supplies its customers with CNG and LNG. It also produces renewable biomethane, which could be used as vehicle fuel, through its landfill gas joint-venture. In addition, it helps its customers acquire and finance natural gas vehicles and obtain local, state and federal clean air rebates and incentives. The Company sells natural gas vehicle fuels in the form of both CNG and LNG. CNG is generally used in automobiles, light to medium-duty vehicles and refuse trucks and transit buses as an alternative to gasoline and diesel. It serves fleet vehicle operators in a variety of markets, including public transit, refuse hauling, airports, taxis, seaports, and regional trucking.
