China Mobile Games and Entertainment Group Ltd was incorporated in the Cayman Islands as an exempted limited liability company on January 20, 2011 by VODone as its wholly-owned subsidiary. The Company is a publisher and a developer of mobile games in China with integrated capabilities across the mobile game value chain. Its integrated capabilities include the development, licensing, publishing, distribution and operation of mobile games, mainly in China. For the year ended December 31, 2013, the Company had 27.5 million paying users, including 7.7 million paying users of social games. As of December 31, 2013, its game portfolio included 72 social games and 645 single-player games. In addition to its existing games, the Company has a pipeline of games with a variety of themes, cultural characteristics and features designed to appeal to a broad base of players. In order to leverage the high quality of its game portfolio, the Company has established a multifaceted publishing platform. The Company cooperates with various business partners, including chipset manufacturers, handset companies, app stores, web platforms, advertisers and mobile network operators. The Company's games include social games as well as single-player games which are available both individually and as part of game bundles. Joyful Da Ying Jia, War Valley, San Guo Zhi Weili Jiaqiang Ban, Monster Island, Wu Xia Q Zhuan, Finger Soldier are some of the main games of 2013. As of December 31, 2013, the Company has registered 30 copyrights for software it developed or acquired from third parties with the State Copyright Bureau of the PRC. In addition, it has registered nine domain names, including www.cmge.com and www.51pk.com. It competes directly with mobile game publishers and developers in China. The Company's provision of mobile game development and operation and mobile handset design services is subject to a number of PRC laws and regulations relating to the telecommunications services, Internet information services, electronic and Internet publications, online games and cultural products, and information security and censorship, and is regulated by various PRC government authorities.
