ConnectOne Bancorp Inc is a one-bank holding company. The company through its holding provides banking services including lending, depository and related financial services to commercial, industrial and governmental customers.

ConnectOne Bancorp Inc is a one-bank holding company, incorporated in the state of New Jersey on November 12, 1982. It is a bank holding company which owns and manages Union Center National Bank (the Bank). The Bank provides a full range of banking services to individual and corporate customers through branch locations in Union, Morris, and Bergen and, commencing in May 2013, Mercer counties, New Jersey. The Bank offers various lending, depository and related financial services to commercial, industrial and governmental customers. In the lending area, the banks services include short and medium term loans, lines of credit, letters of credit, working capital loans, real estate construction loans and mortgage loans. In the depository area, the Bank offers demand deposits, savings accounts and time deposits. In addition, the bank offers collection services, wire transfers, night depository and lock box services. The Bank offers a range of consumer banking services, including interest bearing and non-interest bearing checking accounts, savings accounts, money market accounts, certificates of deposit, IRA accounts, Automated Teller Machine (ATM) accessibility using Star Systems, Inc. service, secured and unsecured loans, mortgage loans, home equity lines of credit, safe deposit boxes, Christmas club accounts, vacation club accounts, money orders and travelers' checks. The bank, through its subsidiary, provides financial services, including brokerage services, insurance and annuities, mutual funds and financial planning. The Bank offers various money market services. It deals in U.S. Treasury and U.S. Governmental agency securities, certificates of deposits, commercial paper and repurchase agreements. The Bank is subject to competition from other financial institutions and the regulations of certain federal and state agencies and undergoes periodic examinations by those regulatory authorities. The operations of the Bank are subject to requirements and restrictions under federal law, including requirements to maintain reserves against deposits, restrictions on the types and amounts of loans that may be granted, and limitations on the types of investments that may be made and the types of services which may be offered.
