Croda International PLC is engaged in manufacturing speciality chemical. It supplies speciality ingredients for the personal care industry, pharmaceutical and nutritional markets. It also sells coating & polymer, and adhesives.

Croda International PLC was incorporated in United Kingdom on May 22, 1925. The Company is engaged in manufacturing speciality chemical. It operates in four business segments including Personal Care, Life Sciences, Performance Technologies and Industrial Chemicals. The Company's Personal care segment is engaged in supplying speciality ingredients for the personal care industry. Its ingredients are used in applications including skin care, sun care, hair care, colour cosmetics and toiletries. The Company's Life Sciences incorporates Health Care and Crop Care business areas. Health Care delivers ingredients and formulation expertise to pharmaceutical and nutritional markets, including dermatology and animal health; and Crop Care provides ingredients and formulation expertise to agrochemical companies, enabling them to develop efficient, complex and safe products that help farmers achieve superior yields. The Performance Technologies segment delivers additives to niche markets. It is organized into five business areas: Lubricants supplies automotive and industrial lubricants companies; Coatings and Polymers serves the coatings, adhesives and speciality polymers markets; Geo Technologies supports customers in oil and gas, water treatment and mining; Polymer Additives sells into the plastics and packaging sector; and Home Care serves household product manufacturers, as well as industrial cleaning companies. The Industrial Chemicals segment sells co-streams produced during the manufacture of core sector products and undertakes toll processing. It is also developing niche ranges of specialist materials for thermal management, catalysts, electronics, advanced ceramics and other industrial applications. The Company operates in geographical areas including Europe, with manufacturing sites in the UK, France, Holland, Italy and Spain; the Americas, with manufacturing sites in the USA and Brazil; and Asia, with manufacturing sites in Singapore, Japan, India, China and Indonesia.
