Cementos Pacasmayo SAA, a Peruvian corporation was incorporated in. It is a Peruvian cement manufacturer in the northern region of Peru. The Company produces, distributes and sells cement and cement-related materials, such as concrete blocks and ready-mix concrete. Its products are used in construction. It owns two cement production facilities, its flagship Pacasmayo facility located in the northwest of Peru and its smaller Rioja facility located in the northeast. Its facilities have total installed annual cement production capacity of approximately 3.1 million metric tons. The company also has installed annual production capacity of 240,000 metric tons of quicklime. Its core products are cement and other cement-related materials. It also produces quicklime and, until recently, zinc calcine. In 2012, cement, concrete and blocks accounted for 83.1% of its net sales, quicklime accounted for 4.5% and zinc calcine accounted for only 0.3%. It also generate sales by selling and distributing construction materials, such as steel rebar, cables and pipes, manufactured by third-party manufacturing companies, which in 2011 represented 12.2% of its net sales.
