Capital Product Partners L.P., was formed on January 16, 2007, under the laws of the Marshall Islands. The Company is an international shipping company. Its vessels are capable of carrying a range of cargoes, including crude oil, refined oil products, such as gasoline, diesel, fuel oil and jet fuel, edible oils and certain chemicals such as ethanol as well as dry cargo and containerized goods. Its vessels are chartered under medium- to long-term, fixed-rate time and bareboat charters with strong counterparties. The Company's operations and its status as an operator and manager of ships are regulated by international conventions, Class requirements, U.S. federal, state and local as well as non-U.S. health, safety and environmental protection laws and regulations, including OPA 90, the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act.
