Cirrus Logic Inc was incorporated under the laws of California on February 3, 1984 became a public company in 1989 and was reincorporated in the State of Delaware in February 1999. The Company develops high-precision, analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs) for a broad range of audio and energy markets. It delivers products for consumer and professional audio, automotive entertainment, and targeted industrial applications including energy control, energy measurement, light emitting diode (LED) lighting and energy exploration. The Companys main product lines include: Audio Products and Energy products. The Audio products include High-precision analog and mixed-signal components, as well as audio digital signal processor (DSP) products for consumer, professional and automotive entertainment markets. The Companys portfolio of approximately 250 active proprietary audio products includes analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), digital-to-analog converters (DACs), codecs chips that integrate ADCs and DACs into a single IC, digital interface ICs, volume controls, adaptive noise cancelling circuits (ANC) and amplifiers, as well as audio DSPs. The Company introduced its first line of voice processors, featuring SoundClear technology, for voice-enabled portable applications. Its products are used in a array of consumer applications, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, audio/video receivers (AVRs) portable media players, home theater systems, set-top boxes, portable speakers, headsets and headphones, digital camcorders and televisions. The applications for products within professional markets include digital mixing consoles, multi-track digital recorders and effects processors; and within automotive markets include amplifiers, satellite radio systems, telematics and multi-speaker car-audio systems. The energy product provides high-precision analog and mixed-signal ICs for targeted energy control, energy measurement, and LED lighting and energy exploration applications. The Company has approximately 450 active proprietary energy products which include LED driver ICs, power meter ICs, ADCs, and DACs. Its products are used in an array of high-precision, energy-related applications including LED retrofit lamps, digital utility meters, power supplies and energy exploration. The Company offers approximately 700 products worldwide through both direct and indirect sales channels.
