Cirrus Logic Inc develops high-precision, analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs) for a range of audio and energy markets.Its main product line includes audio products and energy products.

Cirrus Logic Inc was incorporated under the laws of California on February 3, 1984 became a public company in 1989 and was reincorporated in the State of Delaware in February 1999. The Company develops high performance, low-power integrated circuits ("ICs") for audio and voice signal processing applications. Its products include the entire audio signal chain, from capture to playback, providing products for smartphones, tablets, digital headsets, wearables and emerging smart home applications. It offers portable audio and non-portable audio and other product lines. Its Portable Audio Products include high-precision analog and mixed-signal audio converter and digital signal processing products for mobile devices including smartphones, tablets, digital headsets, wearables, smart accessories and portable media players. The Company's Non-Portable Audio and Other Products includes high-precision analog and mixed-signal components targeting the consumer market, including emerging smart home applications, and the automotive, energy and industrial markets. It also supplies products including ICs, codecs, ADCs, DACs, digital interface and amplifiers. It offers products through both direct and indirect sales channels. Its domestic sales force includes a network of direct sales offices located in California and Texas. International sales offices and staff are located in Hong Kong, Japan, Shanghai and Shenzhen in the People's Republic of China, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom. The Company faces competition from companies including AAC Technologies, AKM Semiconductor Inc., Analog Devices Inc., Austriamicrosystems AG, DSP Group, ESS Technology, Inc., GoerTek Inc., InvenSense, Inc., Knowles Corporation, Maxim Integrated Products Inc., NXP Semiconductors N.V., Qualcomm Incorporated, Realtek Semiconductor Corporation, ST Microelectronics N.V., and Texas Instruments, Inc.
