CSG Systems International Inc is a Delaware Corporation formed in October 1994. The Company is a business support solutions provider serving the communications industry. The Company's approach and solutions are based on its broad and deep experience in serving clients in the communications industry as their businesses have evolved from a single product offering to a complex, competitive, multi-product service offering. The Company's solutions help service providers streamline and scale operations, introduce and adapt products and services to meet customer demands, and address the challenges and opportunities brought about by change. The Company have one reportable segment: products and services. Company's products and services help companies with complex transaction-centric business models manage the opportunities and challenges associated with accurately capturing, managing, generating, and optimizing the revenue associated with the immense volumes of customer interactions and then manage the intricate nature of those customer relationships. Company's core billing and customer care and business optimization platform, Advanced Convergent Platform (ACP), is a pre-integrated platform, delivered in an outsourced managed services environment. It generates a substantial percentage of its revenues by providing ACP processing and Customer Interaction Management solutions, and related software products like, Advanced Customer Service Representative, Workforce Express to the North American cable and satellite markets. Additionally, it license certain software products like, WBMS, Total Service Mediation, and Singleview and provide professional services to implement these software products, increase the efficiency and productivity of its clients' operations, and allow clients to effectively roll out new products as well as attract and retain customers. The Company's clients include: AT&T, ESPN, DISH Network Corporation, Telefonica, Time Warner Cable, Inc., Verizon, among others. The Company's competitors include: Amdocs Limited, NEC Corporation, and Oracle Corporation; network equipment providers such as Ericsson, Huawei, and Alcatel-Lucent; and internally-developed solutions.
