Danone is a food company that produces fresh dairy products, baby nutrition, biscuits and medical nutrition products.

Danone's business is structured into four segments: fresh dairy products, which represented around 50% of revenue in 2015; early-life nutrition (22%); bottled water (21%); and medical nutrition (7%). The firm's portfolio includes some well-known brands, such as Danone/Dannon dairy products, Nutrilon and Cow & Gate infant nutrition, and Evian and Volvic bottled water. Danone derives around 60% of its annual sales outside Western Europe, up from around just one third in 2001.
