Dover Motorsports Inc is a marketers and promoters of motorsports entertainment. Through its subsidiaries, it owns and operates Dover International Speedway and Nashville Superspeedway. It is also engaged in harness horse racing operations.

Dover Motorsports Inc was founded in 1969. It is a marketers and promoters of motorsports entertainment in the United States. The Company, through its subsidiaries, owns and operates Dover International Speedway in Dover, Delaware and Nashville Superspeedway near Nashville, Tennessee. Its predecessor, Dover Downs, Inc., was also engaged in harness horse racing operations and later ran its other gaming operations. Its operations were segregated into two main operating subsidiaries; Dover International Speedway, Inc., encompassed its motorsports operations, and Dover Downs, Inc., conducted its gaming operations. The Company competes with type of racing event, caliber of the event, sight lines, ticket pricing, location and customer conveniences, among other things, differentiate the motorsports facilities. It also competes with improving and expanding media coverage and content by network and cable broadcasters.
