Engility Holdings Inc is engaged in deploying skilled workforce to the U.S. government. Its services include specialized technical consulting, program and business support, & engineering and technology lifecycle support.

Engility Holdings Inc. was incorporated in Delaware in 2011. On July 17, 2012, L-3 completed the Spin-Off of Engility Holdings, Inc. from L-3, and Engility retained the SETA, training and operational support services businesses that were previously part of L-3's Government Services segment. The Company offers systems engineering services, training, program management, and operational support for the U.S. government wherever required. Through its Mission Support Services segment, the company provided capabilities such as defense related training, education and support services, law enforcement training, national security infrastructure and institutional development. The Company's portfolio of offerings reflects a continuum or "lifecycle" of capabilities that aligns with how and what its customers buy in terms of services. Its offerings include: specialized technical consulting; program and business support services; engineering and technology lifecycle support; information technology modernization and sustainment; supply chain services and logistics management; and training and education. It competes within the government services industry mainly against services-focused companies. Its customers include the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Agency for International Development, U.S. Department of State, Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Homeland Security, and foreign governments. It competes within the government services industry, against services-focused companies such as Booz Allen Hamilton, CACI International Inc., DynCorp International, ManTech International Corporation, PAE, Circa Systems and Science Applications International Corporation; AECOM Technology Corporation, BAE Systems, Inc., Computer Sciences Corp, General Dynamics Corporation, Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., Lockheed Martin Corp., Northrop Grumman Corporation and Raytheon Company.
