Engility Holdings Inc., was incorporated in Delaware in 2011. On July 17, 2012, L-3 completed the Spin-Off of Engility Holdings, Inc. from L-3, and Engility retained the SETA, training and operational support services businesses that were previously part of L-3's Government Services segment. The Company offers systems engineering services, training, program management, and operational support for the U.S. government. It operates in two segments: Professional Support Services and Mission Support Services. Its Professional Support Services segment provided Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) services, program management support and software engineering lifecycle sustainment and support services. Through its Mission Support Services segment, the company provided capabilities such as defense related training, education and support services, law enforcement training, national security infrastructure and institutional development. The Company's portfolio of offerings reflects a continuum or "lifecycle" of capabilities that aligns with how and what its customers buy in terms of services. Its offerings include: specialized technical consulting; program and business support services; engineering and technology lifecycle support; information technology modernization and sustainment; supply chain services and logistics management; and training and education. It competes within the government services industry mainly against services-focused companies.
