The Company is a provider of integrated technology solutions for the legal profession. The Company's solutions streamline the administration of bankruptcy, litigation, financial transactions and regulatory compliance matters. It offers innovative technology solutions for electronic discovery, document review, legal notification, claims administration and controlled disbursement of funds. Its clients include law firms, corporate legal departments, bankruptcy trustees, government agencies and other professional advisors who require innovative technology, responsive service and deep subject-matter expertise. The Company's business is organized into three reporting segments: electronic discovery, bankruptcy, and settlement administration. The Company's electronic discovery segment provides collections and forensics, processing, search and review, and document review services to companies and the litigation departments of law firms. The Company's eDataMatrix(r) software analyzes filters, deduplicates and produces documents for review. The Company's customers are typically corporations that use its products and services cooperatively with their legal counsel to manage the electronic discovery process for litigation and regulatory matters. Produced documents are made available mainly through a hosted environment, and its DocuMatrix(tm) software allows for efficient attorney review and data requests. Bankruptcy is an integral part of the United States' economy. Its bankruptcy business provides solutions that address the needs of Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy trustees to administer bankruptcy proceedings and of debtor corporations that file a plan of reorganization. The Company's settlement administration segment provides managed services, including legal notification, claims administration, project administration and controlled disbursement.
