Evolution Petroleum Corp is a petroleum company engaged in the acquisition, exploitation and development of properties for the production of crude oil and natural gas in United States.

Evolution Petroleum Corp formerly known as Natural Gas Systems, Inc was incorporated on May 24, 1994 in Nevada. It an oil and gas company engaged in the acquisition, exploitation and development of properties for the production of crude oil and natural gas, onshore in the United States. It acquires known crude oil and natural gas resources and exploits them through the application of conventional and technology. The Company also provides its artificial lift technology to other operators to improve recovery of oil and gas from existing wells. The Company markets its production to third parties in a manner consistent with industry practices. In the U.S. market where it operates, crude oil and natural gas liquids are readily transportable and marketable. Its competitors include integrated crude oil and natural gas companies and numerous independent crude oil and natural gas companies, individuals and drilling and income programs.
