GuruFocus Profitability Rank ranks how profitable a company is and how likely the company’s business will stay that way. It is based on these factors:

1. Operating Margin
2. Trend of the Operating Margin (5-year average). The company with an uptrend profit margin has a higher rank.
••3. Consistency of the profitability
4. Piotroski F-Score
5. Predictability Rank•

The maximum rank is 10. A rank of 7 or higher means a higher profitability and may stay that way. A rank of 3 or lower indicates that the company has had trouble to make a profit.

Profitability Rank is not directly related to the Financial Strength Rank. But if a company is consistently profitable, its financial strength will be stronger.

Traded in other countries:EQT.Germany,
EQT Midstream Partners LP is a Delaware Corporation. The Company owns, operates, acquires and develops midstream assets in the Appalachian Basin. It provides substantially all of its natural gas transmission, storage and gathering services under contracts with fixed reservation and/or usage fees, with a portion of its revenues being generated via long-term firm contracts. It is engaged in operations in the Marcellus Shale fairway in southern Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia, the core operating area of the Company. The Company provides midstream services to third parties in the Appalachian Basin across 21 counties in Pennsylvania and West Virginia through its two primary assets; its transmission and storage system, which serves as a header system transmission pipeline, and its gathering system, which delivers natural gas from wells and other receipt points to transmission pipelines. The Company's transmission and storage system includes an approximately 700 mile FERC-regulated interstate pipeline system that connects to five interstate pipelines and multiple distribution companies, and is supported by 14 associated natural gas storage reservoirs with approximately 400 MMcf per day of peak withdrawal capability and 32 Bcf of working gas capacity. All of the Company's assets and operations are located in the continental United States. Its principal competitors in its natural gas transmission and storage market include companies that own major natural gas pipelines. In addition, it also competes with companies that are building high pressure gathering facilities that are not subject to FERC jurisdiction to move volumes to interstate pipelines. It is subject to federal, state and local environmental laws and regulations.
