Enerplus Corp was formed in 1986. It operates as a North American energy producer company. It is an oil and gas exploration and production company. The Company owns and operates a diversified income generating crude oil and natural gas properties in Western Canada in the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan, and in the United States. The Company invests in mature crude oil and natural gas producing properties located in Western Canada with predictable production profiles. The Company has a concentrated oil and natural gas assets in four core areas in Canada and the United States that provide stable production and cash flow generation as well significant reserve and production growth opportunities. The Company maintain a balance between oil and natural gas production to help mitigate the risk associated with any commodity.
