Evn AG provides energy generation network operations including cable TV & telecommunications and energy supply. It is in the international energy & environmental services business which provides drinking water supply and waste water disposal.

Evn AG was founded in 1922. The Company provides its home market with electricity, natural gas, heat, drinking water and wastewater treatment, waste incineration and related services from a single supplier. The Company operates through the following segments: Generation, Network Infrastructure Austria, Energy Trade and Supply, Energy Supply South East Europe, Environmental Services, and Strategic Investments and Other Business. The Generation segment is involved in electricity generation from thermal sources and renewable energies. The Network Infrastructure Austria operates regional electricity and gas networks, in addition to cable TV and telecommunications networks. The Energy Trade and Supply segment sources electricity, trades and sells electricity and natural gas to consumers, and wholesales markets. The Energy Supply South East Europe segment operates and sells electricity networks in Bulgaria and Macedonia. It is also involved in heat generation, heat seal, and the operation of natural gas networks in Croatia. The Environmental Services segment provides drinking water supplies, wastewater disposal and offers thermal waste incineration services. The Strategic Investments and Other Business segment invests in strategic investment opportunities.
