Veresen Inc, is a publicly traded dividend paying corporation, based in Calgary, Alberta, that owns and operates energy infrastructure assets across North America. The Company is engaged in three main businesses: pipeline transportation, natural gas liquids and power. Each of these businesses plays an important role in meeting North American energy requirements and is positioned for growth. The pipeline business comprises of interests in two pipeline systems; the Alliance Pipeline, which is a 3,000 km dense phase pipeline delivering natural gas and Midstreams from Western Canada to the Midwest United States, and Alberta Ethane Gathering System, an ethane pipeline system which is an integral part of Alberta's world-class petrochemical industry. The midstream business includes an interest in an extraction facility near Chicago, Illinois and a 100% ownership of the Hythe/Steeprock gas gathering and processing complex. The power business has renewable and gas-fired facilities and development projects in Canada and the United States, and district energy systems in Ontario and Prince Edward Island and waste heat power facilities. The Company and each of its pipeline, midstream extraction and power businesses are also actively developing a number of greenfield investment opportunities.
