Farmers Capital Bank Corp is a bank holding company. The Company provides banking and bank related services to customers throughout Central and Northern Kentucky.

Farmers Capital Bank Corp was formed on October 28, 1982 under the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The Company provides banking and bank-related services to customers throughout Central and Northern Kentucky. The Company provides financial services at its 36 locations in 23 communities throughout Central and Northern Kentucky to individual, business, agriculture, government, and educational customers. Its deposit products are checking, savings, and term certificate accounts. Its lending products are residential mortgage, commercial lending, and consumer installment loans. Substantially all loans and leases are secured by specific items of collateral including business assets, consumer assets, and commercial and residential real estate. Other services provided by the Company include cash management services, issuing letters of credit, safe deposit box rental, and providing funds transfer services. The bank serves as an agent in providing credit card loans. The Company and its subsidiaries are subject to comprehensive supervision and regulation that affect virtually all aspects of their operations. These laws and regulations are intended for the protection of depositors, borrowers, and federal deposit insurance funds, and, to a lesser extent, for the protection of stockholders and creditors.
