FirstGroup PLC was incorporated on March 31, 1995. The Company is a transport operator in the UK and North America. The Company has five operating divisions: First Student, First Transit, Greyhound, UK Bus and UK Rail. First Student is the provider of student transportation in North America. First Transit is one of the private sector providers of public transit management and contracting in North America. Greyhound is the national operator of scheduled intercity coach services in the US and Canada, serving 48 US States and 10 Canadian Provinces and Territories. UK Bus is a bus operator in the UK, with around a fifth of the deregulated market. UK Rail is the rail operator with almost a quarter of the passenger rail network, carrying more than 280m passengers per year. The Company operates in the United Kingdom (UK), United States of America ( US) and Canada.
