First of Long Island Corp, is a one-bank holding company, was incorporated on February 7, 1984. The Company, through its subsidiary, The First National Bank of Long Island, "Bank" provides financial services. The Bank serves the financial needs of privately owned businesses, professionals, consumers, public bodies and other organizations in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Long Island, New York. The Bank has an Investment Management Division that provides investment management, pension trust, personal trust, estate and custody services. In addition to its loan and deposit products, the Bank offers other services to its customers such as; account reconciliation services, online banking, ATM banking, payroll services, bank by mail, personal money orders, bill payment, remote deposit, cash management services, safe deposit boxes, collection services, securities transactions, controlled disbursement accounts, signature guarantee services, drive-through banking, telephone banking, lock box services, travelers checks, merchant credit card services, investment management and trust services, mutual funds, annuities and life insurance, wire transfers and foreign cables, night depository services, and withholding tax depository services. The Company competes with money center, large regional and community banks located within the market area, as well as mortgage brokers, brokerage firms and credit unions. The Company and the Bank is subject to regulation, supervision and examination by, among others, the Federal Reserve Board, OCC and FDIC, which also insures the Bank's deposits.

GLEN HEAD, N.Y., March 06, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The First of Long Island Corporation (NASDAQ:FLIC) announced today the declaration of a first quarter cash dividend in the amount of $.14 per share.  This represents a 5% increase over the split-adjusted dividend declared in the same quarter last year.  The dividend will be paid on April 3, 2017 to shareholders of record on March 17, 2017.
The First National Bank of Long Island is the sole subsidiary of The First of Long Island Corporation.  The Bank currently has forty-seven branches in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Long Island and the boroughs of Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan.  The Bank expects to open two more branches in 2017 and continues to evaluate sites for further branch expansion.
