Farmers National Banc Corp is a one-bank holding company organized in 1983 under the laws of the State of Ohio and registered under the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956. The Company and its subsidiaries operate in the domestic banking, trust, retirement consulting, insurance and financial management industries. Its business consists of owning and supervising its subsidiaries. Its business activities are managed and financial performance is aggregated and reported in three lines of business, the Bank segment, the Trust segment and NAI segment. The Farmers National Bank of Canfield, the Bank is a full-service national banking association engaged in commercial and retail banking in Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana and Stark Counties in Ohio. Farmers Trust Company, Farmers Trust offers a full complement of personal and corporate trust services in the areas of estate settlement, trust administration and employee benefit plans. National Associates, Inc., during 2013, the Company completed the acquisition of all outstanding stock of the retirement planning consultancy National Associates, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio. Its part of the Company's plan to increase the levels of noninterest income and to complement the existing retirement service currently being offered. The Company and its subsidiaries are subject to extensive regulation by federal and state regulatory agencies. As a bank holding company, it is subject to regulation under the BHCA and to inspection, examination and supervision by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.
