First Quantum Minerals Ltd is a mining company. Its activities include mineral exploration, mine engineering and construction, development and mining. It is engaged in the production of copper cathode, copper in concentrate, gold, nickel and zinc.

First Quantum is a diversified mining company with principal producing assets in Zambia, Mauritania, Australia, and Finland. It owns an array of projects that are not yet at the commercial production stage, including the Sentinel copper mine in Zambia, Enterprise nickel mine in Zambia, and Cobre Panama copper mine in Panama. The company acquired copper miner Inmet in 2013.
