Fuel Systems Solutions, Inc., designs, manufactures and supplies alternative fuel components and systems for transportation and industrial applications. The Company also provides engineering and systems integration services to address its individual customer requirement for product performance, durability and physical configuration. The Company supplies its products and systems to the marketplace through distribution network of distributors and dealers in approximately 60 countries and 173 original equipment manufacturers. It offers components, systems and fully integrated solutions for customers including fuel delivery, electronic controls, gaseous fueled internal combustion engines, systems integration, auxiliary power systems, and natural gas compressors. Automobile manufacturers, taxi companies, transit and shuttle bus companies and delivery fleets are among the active customers for Company's transportation products. Manufacturers of industrial mobile and power generation equipment, stationary engines, and truck and rail locomotives are among the active customers for its industrial products. The Company offers products including gaseous fuel regulators, fuel shut-off valves, fuel metering and delivery systems, complete engine systems, auxiliary power systems and electronic controls for use in internal combustion engines for the transportation, industrial and power generation markets. It also designs, assembles and markets ancillary components required for complete systems operation on alternative fuels. The Company's competitors include Westport Innovations Inc., OMVL, S.r.L., EMER, S.p.A., Landi Group, O.M.T. Tartarini, S.r.L., and Nikki Company Ltd.
