Business Description

StealthGas Inc. was incorporated in December 2004 in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. It carries various petroleum and petrochemical gas products in liquefied form, including propane, butane, butadiene, isopropane, propylene and vinyl chloride monomer, all of which are byproducts of the production of crude oil and natural gas. The Company's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carriers serve industrial companies, national and independent energy companies, and energy traders such as Royal Dutch Shell, Dow Chemical Company, Statoil ASA, Finaval SpA and Petredec Ltd. Its fleet of 36 LPG carriers operates on spot contracts, time charters, and bareboat charters and also owns two product tankers. Commercial and technical management of the fleet is outsourced to Stealth Maritime, a privately held company closely affiliated with StealthGas. The Company is based in Athens, Greece and serves LPG producers and users internationally.
