Business Description

Goodrich Petroleum Corporation is a Delaware Corporation. It operates as an independent oil and gas company engaged in the exploration, exploitation, development and production of oil and natural gas properties in East Texas and Northwest Louisiana. The Company owns working interests in 466 active oil and gas wells located in 24 fields in six states. The Company focuses on adding reserve value through the development of its Haynesville Shale acreage and the timely development of its large relatively low risk development program in the Cotton Valley trend. It continues to pursue the acquisition and evaluation of prospective acreage, oil and gas drilling opportunities and potential property acquisitions. The oil and gas industry is highly competitive. The Company's operations are subject to stringent and complex federal, state and local laws and regulations governing the discharge of materials into the environment or otherwise relating to environmental protection.
