Business Description

Globus Maritime Ltd. was incorporated on July 26, 2006 in Jersey. Globus Maritime Limited redomiciled into the Republic of the Marshall Islands. It is a drybulk shipping company, providing marine transportation services on a worldwide basis. The company is a vertically integrated shipping company that owns, operates and manages a fleet of dry bulk vessels that transport iron ore, coal, grain, steel products, cement, alumina and other dry bulk cargoes worldwide. Its current fleet consists of one Panamax, one Kamsarmax and three Supramax vessels. The company's operations are managed by wholly-owned subsidiary, Globus Shipmanagement Corp., out of Athens, Greece. Its in-house commercial and technical management teams focuses exclusively on vessels. Its primary objective is to grow fleet through timely and selective acquisitions of modern vessels in a manner that the company believes will provide an attractive return on equity and will be accretive to its earnings and cash flow based on anticipated market rates at the time of purchase.
