It operates marketing and distributing physical commodities sourced from third party producers. It also provides financing, logistics and other services to producers and consumers of commodities. Its three segments include metals and minerals, energy products and agricultural products. Metals and minerals segment consists of Zinc, copper,lead, alumina, aluminium, ferroalloys, nickel, cobalt and iron ore, including smelting, refining, mining, processing and storage related operations of the relevant commodities. Energy products segment consists of crude oil, oil products, steam coal and metallurgical coal, including investments in coal mining and oil production operations, ports, vessels and storage facilities. Agriculture products segment consists of wheat, corn, canola, barley, rice, oil seeds, meals, edible oils, biofuels, cotton and sugar supported by investments in farming, storage, handling, processing and port facilities.
