Howard Bancorp Inc Md was incorporated in April of 2005 under the laws of the State of Maryland. The Company is a bank holding company for Howard Bank. It provides commercial banking, insurance, investments, mortgage banking, and consumer finance products and services to businesses, professionals, and consumers in Maryland. It offers various deposit products, such as community business, business relationship, business solutions, super, Howard relationship, and Howard maximum checking accounts; individual retirement accounts; business, junior, personal, and IRA savings accounts; personal and business money market accounts; certificates of deposits; and CDARS. The Companys credit and lending services include commercial lines of credit commercial construction loans, commercial real estate loans, mini-perm financing, small business administration loans, receivables financing, equipment financing, home equity loans and lines, residential mortgages, consumer installment loans, unsecured lines of credit, renaissance loan fund, public servant loan program, and sustainability loan program. It also provides cash management and business services comprising escrow accounts, lockbox processing, same day branch deposit, free courier service for non-negotiable deposits, wire transfers, hands on evaluator, night depositories, customer convenience drop off boxes, remote deposit, repurchase agreements, merchant card services, and master notes. In addition, it offers business and personal online banking, Web BillPay services, ATM cards, and personal and business credit cards.
