Hudson Valley Holding Corp. is a New York corporation founded in 1982. The Company, through its subsidiaries, provides banking and related services to businesses, professionals, municipalities, not-for-profit organizations and individuals in New York. Its customers are businesses, professionals, municipalities, not-for-profit organizations and individuals. It offers deposit products ranging in maturity from demand-type accounts to certificates of deposit with maturities of up to five years. It has 23 automated teller machines, or ATMs, at various locations, which generate activity fees based on use by other banks' customers. It is engaged in a variety of lending activities which are categorized as real estate, commercial and industrial, individual and lease financing. The Company also offers a software application designed to meet the specific administrative needs of bankruptcy trustees through a marketing and licensing agreement with the application vendor. It offers various loans secured by residential real estate properties are offered by the Company, including 1-4 family residential mortgages, multi-family residential loans and a variety of home equity line of credit products. It also offers a variety of home equity line of credit products. These products include credit lines on residences, vacation homes and 1-4 unit residential investment properties. It also provides investment management and broker-dealer services to its customers. It has 17 branch offices in Westchester County, 4 in Manhattan, 4 in Bronx County, 2 in Rockland County, and 1 in Kings County, New York. The Company competes with banking and financial services business, mutual funds, factoring companies, mortgage bankers and insurance companies.
