Healthways Inc provides comprehensive total population health management solutions that are designed to help people improve their well-being, thereby improving their health and productivity and reducing their health-related costs.

Healthways Inc founded and incorporated in Delaware in the year 1981. It provides specialized, comprehensive solutions to help people improve their well-being. The Company's solutions provide interventions for each individual in a population, irrespective of age, or health status. It also offers wellness and disease prevention solutions through total population screening, well-being assessments, and supportive interventions; access to health improvement programs, such as fitness solutions, weight management, chiropractic, and complementary and alternative medicine; and educational materials and personal interactions with trained nurses and other healthcare professionals to create and sustain healthier behaviors for individuals who are in the early stages of chronic conditions. In addition, the company operates care enhancement and coaching centers; fitness centers; and provides health improvement programs and services in Brazil, Australia, and France. It offers its programs for lifestyle support, management and education delivered through web-based portals and mobile applications and may also offer a social networking enhancement opportunity. Its web-based tools include the Well-Being Connect portal and its educational capabilities that include the Dave Ramsey Core Financial Wellness program. It also utilizes mobile applications such as wellbeingGO, and its MeYou Health subsidiary mobile applications that include Well-Being Tracker, Daily Challenge and Walkadoo. Its clientele encompasses health plans, employers, integrated healthcare systems, hospitals, physicians, and government entities in the United States, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. The Company is subject to various rules and regulations set forth by the government time to time.
